Weavings

Our last assignment is nearly over, but I wanted to post some of what students have accomplished thus far. Students have been creating weavings with various types of "stitches" and color combinations to create contrast.

Design Squares

This was a shorter exercise on symmetry that students completed. Students did a nice job and some were surprised how good they came out!

Oil Pastels

Students explored abstraction and color with oil pastel. Their work is bright and wonderful!

Value Studies

I am very pleased at how our take on traditional value studies came out. Students worked very hard and some of them look fantastic! Thanks for checking out what we're doing!
